At stake is not only the satyr, but the whole "Camp Half-Blood": someone had poisoned the sacred tree of Thalia, and this means that the protection of the camp is about to fall down and nothing will be able to keep the monsters from invading. Heal the tree can only mythical Golden Fleece, hidden on the island of Polyphemus - and to get to it, you need to cross the Sea of Monsters and fight its inhabitants.
